There are many grants and resources to fund the conservation of town records, cultural and historical items and more.

For example, the town record books in the image above are from Unity NH and conservation was funded by the Mooseplate Grant. They underwent conservation by Carolyn at Works on Paper, then were rebound by Malcolm Summers at the Chester Bookworm, and lastly, preserved on microfilm by Backstage Library Works.

The entire project was paid for by a New Hampshire Conservation License Plate grant, made possible by the sale of "Moose License Plates" and administered by the New Hampshire State Library.
